Making a part bodycolored

So, I'm working on a Tron-like skin for the moonhawk

I'd like to make the headlights bodycolored but I have no idea of how to do it
The burnside wheels makes me think it's possible, tell me if I'm wrong

So far I've only managed to overwrite the moonhawk files for the headlights to be blue :
