So it is not 0.5 or 0.5.1 that has caused this (it was like this for a while), but my Gridmap fails to load properly and I spawn in the middle of nothing. I don't know how to get it back to normal. The Steam verify game file cache thingamajig did not help, either. How do I get it back to normal?
